The owners of the Hoon Hay renovation knew what they wanted to achieve. Their desire was to have a more modern, warm, dry and healthy home to raise their family in. Vulcan Construction got involved early in the process and was able to guide the design to align with the owners desires, and also what their budget allowed.
This renovation involved a small extension under the existing roofline, and a complete rearrangement of the rooms within the dwelling. This allowed for a full fit-out of new insulation throughout and creation of a new open plan living area.
The new extension has been clad in LMA timber which complements the existing brick work on the dwelling.
To complete the project two new kwila decks have been constructed allowing for outdoor living space for the family, and a new exposed aggregate driveway allows for all weather access.
